Larry Adams has been coaching at Rochester HS for 34 years. He has been the coach of a team state champion for cross-country in 2007, and a team track state title in 2010. Several of his athletes have earned all-state and all-american honors. He is currently the head girls coach for the Midwest Meet of Champions, and has been a volunteer for Breen Track Club since 2009.
Kevin Breen (no relation to William Breen, the namesake of the club) is the former Head Coach for the Girls Track and Cross Country Teams for Clarkston High School. After resigning from his coaching duties in 2015, Breen continues to Teach Art at CHS. Running has been a part of Breen’s life since age 9. Twenty some years later, Breen continues to volunteer his time coaching with Breen Track Club to share his love and experience in the sport.
Former Royal Oak High School Coach, Ryan Piippo, brings 14 years experience (12 as a head coach) in both cross country and track & field. The high school history teacher is a passionate life long runner who enjoys giving back to the sport through coaching with the Breen TC and working part time with Gazelle Sports.
Scott Powell is the parent of three athletes that ran for Troy High School. He was an active parent volunteer for the school’s cross-country and track team, and now continues to volunteer for Breen Track Club. He is still an active runner, and continues to help out with Troy High alumni group involved with the Great Lakes Relay.
Eric has 15 years of experience coaching cross-country and track & field with the most recent 10 years at Troy High School. While he has resigned from his coaching positions at THS, he continues to volunteer his time with Breen Track Club. The sport of running has given so much to him throughout his life, and so he enjoys having the opportunity to share with others all the benefits of the sport.
Matt Richardson has been coaching cross-country and track at Troy High for over 10 years. He is one of the founding members of Breen Track Club
