It would be an understatement to say Breen had a successful weekend at Michigan Indoor Track State Meet at Aquinas College in Grand Rapids on February 25-26. We sent 17 relays that included 38 athletes. 7 relays and 8 individuals came back with medals.
Breen dominated the girls 4x800m with two teams in the top 8. The team of Megan Worrel, Hannah Palomino, Elizabeth Dalrymple, and Mallory Ferguson won the event and broke the meet record with a time of 9:13.75. These ladies will travel to New York in March to compete in the New Balance Nationals. They are currently ranked #2 nationally! (Athletic.net)
